Walunis

Ms. Walunis - Science

For those new to iSTEM, I’m your resident environmentalist. I’m passionate about sustainability and have a knack for finding new ways to reduce our impact. Before joining the world of education, I earned a Master’s in Aquatic Ecology and even discovered a new species of fly. I’ve spent the last two decades sharing my love of science with students at Lake Catholic, Andrews Osborne Academy, and iSTEM.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time in nature with my family. Hiking, canoeing, and biking are our favorite ways to explore national parks. Though I’ve traded coaching, basketball, and baseball for gardening, reading, and running, I still find time to tackle my inbox in the wee hours of the morning.
